Jun 9th, 2019Pepper is the predominant note that lingers with this wine but this is a positive thing as it meshes well with the fruit. Cedar is also present and good acidity with low tannin. I'd like to have a more robust fruit to balance out the pepper. Too bad they did not add some additional fruit to counteract the pepper.

I’m disappointed. Very astringent and bitter. I’ve had better Malbecs for less cost. Upon searching online I have found many others who were as disappointed as I. There is very little flavor or depth to this one and I recommend not drinking it at all.

Mar 3rd, 2017Needed some air to open up, but cherry and plum notes emerged with some black pepper. Palate was much the same with good acidity and soft tannins.
Would have honestly liked a little more structure, but a good and tasty wine nonetheless.

A Malbec for people who don't care for Malbec! I found this more balanced than usual, with a little earthy terroir but not so much that it overwhelms. Perfect with a beef stew.

Nov 22nd, 2021Some pepper flavor, some moderately dry tannins. Some slightly more forward initial fruitiness which I love. But an overall short and slightly weak flavor makes this A very okay Malbec for me. But pretty drinkable. And I got it for $6 so I’m cool!
