2013 vintage. GSM blend. Powerful nose with very ripe cassis and spices. Amazingly fresh in the mouth, well-balanced and built to age. Terrific effort for Minervois.

Very good wine. Great tannins. Some spice, lots of dark fruit. Lingering dark fruit pepper finish. Overall not too heavy. Very drinkable especially with food. Restaurant serves best fried oysters ever.

Clearly not a bad wine, but not as enjoyable as I expected. Rather tart and tight; took a while to open up and really be drinkable. Even with food, this one was tough.
