Moondance Dream Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon Blend

A mashup of our Stags Leap District vineyard blocks "Moondance" and "Dream On," this wine is a blend of 87% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Petit Verdot, 4% Malbec, and 3% Merlot.

Soft, plush nose & palate up front, then hits with tons of structure. Give this one some shelf time & should live up to its name #clifflede #napacab

Tobacco spice black spice and a bit of a green herbal notes bit very forward and drinkable for such a young wine

Intense berries. Moderate alcohol. 87% Cab. Will get better with some time and air.

Young and loaded with red fruit. Not familiar with this wine but it is superb 🍷

The generally published drinking window for this closes on 2017... We are not so sure after this bottle... decanted for an hour before we drank... deep and profound, but was just becoming approachable toward the end. I am keeping the second bottle in the cellar for a while... this one truly "goes to Eleven!"
