Long cool bottle of the classic Gewurztraminer. Color has slightest golden hue. Smells like pears and beeswax. Flavors are clean and crisp. Not much or any residual sugars. More pears in there. Bright acidity. Meyer lemon. This is very good CA Gewurtz. Food wine with zip and zing. Even holds up after 4 years of age. Winner, winner Gewurtz with dinner.

Nov 24th, 2019Such a solid wine. Crisp and clean but still has great rich body. Reminds me of a thick cloud rolling over right before a thunder storm. This producer makes insane wines and I want to drink them all.

Some gewurz- like aromatics but simple and unappealing in the palate. Finishes slightly bitter and weedy with no fruit components Almost like the grapes were unripe. But the alcohol is 14.1
