Feb 27th, 2021Forward, warm, ripe, sweet nose oozing Grenache character. Cherry kirsch, blackberry, savory spice, rosemary, lavender. Intensely mineral mid palate, big tannins moving back to front and back again. Palate-coating monster that needs ample time to settle down. Excellent potential.

Aug 18th, 2015Soft and juicy. Not overly complex but good acid. Solid bistro quaff and more than adequate with tonight's sausage and onions. Opened with whiff of brett that faded but not entirely. Pretty good for $19. 14% abv. #grenache

Apr 29th, 20142014. Grenache just might be my favorite grape. Pinot noir gives it a run, but not sure it carries the day. This wine is gonna make friends in a few minutes with some Wagyu burgers. Squeaky clean, fruity and lean, it’s a relatively simple wine for a simple meal. Perfect way to start the week. 13.5% abv. $19.
