Kieselstein Zweigelt

A natural wine from Austria made from the Zweigelt grape. Mid crimson in colour. Red savoury cherry on nose and palate. Palate is sweet and spicy finishing with powder dry tannins. Good acidity with fresh red fruits. Great accompaniment to Turkey. From the Burgenland district in Austria.

Austrian case bottle #2: Angular, acidic, a touch of red fruit and kind of drops off the table. Erring towards underripe.

Very mineralic at first. Blueberry's, pepper and a very mouthwatering acidity. With some air the fruity es will grow stronger, remarkably strong but never like jam. Always light, funky and with a touch of pepper and a hint of leather. A Zweigelt to remember.

Slight bit of funk and pretty darn good.

Blueberry, cherry, hay, and leather. Low acid and tannin. Light bodied chiller.
