Really lovely expression of Freisa. Incredibly fresh but with really attractive earthy, smoky element to the black/sour cherry fruit. Best served with a slight chill on a warm day.

dark ruby and a fairly reductive nose, this was my first experience with Freisa. red fruited but muted, lots of earth & forest, bramble - big on palate, grippy tannins yet a jolt of acidity. very unusual overall. interesting & cerebral - imagine this complements heavy tomato based dishes
