Big and starting to hit the down side but lots of positives. If you like a monster Grenache this is your jam, but drink it quicker than this.

The 2006 ‘Blewitt Springs’ by Clarendon Hills shows tremendous energy and verve despite being more than thirteen years of age. Brandy soaked red cherry, cigar box and bright guava puree aromatics fill the glass. Showing a seamless texture and a wonderful sense of minerality, this dazzles on the palate. Red fruits and rose water packed with mineral-driven flavors excite the senses. A long-ager, this will continue to beautifully evolve over the next decade. Drink 2019-2029- 93

Loved it for #1000!
Rich, hearty, light pepper, blackberry, plum, medium bodied, building tannins, decent adicity. Aged nicely.

I could see this going really well with duck in a cherry reduction sauce.

Starting to show developed characteristics, but sill had some beautiful red fruit, cherry, strawberry, spice and some acidity. Drinking really well now.
