Deep dense red color. Plum, black currant and some cherries in aroma. Plums, red gooseberries, raspberry, acidic cranberries in taste. Poignant high tanins. A little bit too sweet, a little bit to pungent. Wish it has more balance. Got a, 2017 vintage in 2024. Matured enough, I'm afraid it will not be better further.

Ciù Ciù Gotico Rosso Piceno Superiore 2012: A harmonious red blend of Sangiovese & Montepulciano grapes. Medium-bodied. Beautiful bouquet. Deep ruby red color with ripe red fruit flavors & spice that dance on your palate. A perfectly smooth finish to complement (& accentuate) any meal! For me, it was Gnocchi Al Gorgonzola!! The more serious blend. Aged much more in barrel and bottle. Dark red and blue berries, herbs, smooth tannins. Full throttled now as it will need 3-5 years to come together.
