Treehouse Vineyard Pinot Noir

I ended up liking this more than expected. This was Cirq’s inaugural vintage. I normally enjoy a bit more crunchy/bright Pinots, but this showed well in a flight of all 2011 Cali wines.

Likely at peak (this has integrated to the point where I don’t see this improving in profile), this was high toned and very aromatic, but only after 30mins (was initially fairly muted). Potpurri, violets, bright red and black berries, and lots of spice. Improved from bottle over the course of two hours. Initially broad on the palate, it dials everything in toward the finish. Juicy fruits and dark plum. ABV pokes out just a bit. Best around cellar temp. Pop now and enjoy.

Very deep and dark for a PN with tremendous extraction and length. Puckery dark cherry with milk chocolate and a splash of cola.

Love this stuff. Period. A little heat on pop but it settled quick.

Lovely showing where cherries and strawberries are not ripe and tart, providing grip and s acidic spine which beautifully balanced its concentrated and dense fruit and structure. This was my last which is sad as its best years are ahead.

Ripe yet balanced. Perfect w cedar plank salmon.

Like a German Black Forest cake: chocolate and cherries.
