I'm on the fence with this. It is showing its age with a hint of barnyard to the dried red fruit aromas. On the palate it is foursquare lacks focus a product of the vintage rather than winemaking.

Out of a magnum. Delicious and well rounded wine. Great fruit. Very smooth with a great finish

Very dark purple colour with a surprisingly gentle, yet slightly peppery, blackberry bouquet. Relatively light-bodied, this has a quite straightforward dark berry taste with again a hint of peppery warmth. A little sour so needs food ideally. Unobjectionable but somewhat forgettable unfortunately.

Not a bad weekday wine for the price. Improved quite a bit on days 2 and 3

Hint of barnyard that grows into intense licorice on the nose. Less bite and more complex than usual Tempranillo, but opened nicely with food pairing. A just fine choice for the price.

Brilliant wine. One of my favourites. Had it with a full snapper, soy/chili/lime glaze. Probably too heavy for the fish. But still amazing.
