Jan 24th, 2019Orange marmalade, subtle herbs of Provence, honeyed, slightly hot finish. Interesting for what it is.

May 28th, 2018More booze than I expected and wanted (labeled as 14%) but delicious nonetheless. Minerals, barely ripe bramble, M+ acid.

Such a steal.

Cherries and bright, purplish red fruit, herbal elixir and white pepper on the nose. Completely transparent, its sweetness paired with a subtly bitter herbal finish, and intense minerality. Beautiful vintage for a beautiful wine. Very much signals its shared identity with Italian Rossese.

Heavy peppercorn crusted smoked meat and iron but where I thought it would continue a NRhonê power profile, it turned thin/lean. The palate showed more pepper and salted cured meats. Finish of black pepper, violets and old potpourri. A lean CdP?

A fresh and bright substitute to the heady grenache-based S. Rhône wines that can be somewhat taxing to drink on warm summer days
