Cherry and hint of earth on the nose; sour cherry and balsam in the mouth; needs more time to round out and soften. I can see how this tart bottle (2024 vintage—just two years old) can mature into a nice tipple but for now it’s too acidic for me to enjoy fully. Had this puckering pour with ribeye steak. Wish I’d drunk a Cabernet instead.
