Drank last night at Jamie’s. Opened bottle 2 hours prior to leaving and pop pour sip very tight/tannic. Opened up to duplicitous cherry/raspberry earthy long length. Tannins smoothed out and fruit became alive. Loved it. 1 more bottle drink next 1-3 years

Color of clear burgundy, with hue of bloody grapefruit. Nose of dried strawberries, some cedar wood, cherry jam, black tea, and tobacco leaves. Taste is juicy, with tannins solid but polished, sweetened black tea, cherry and strawberry, tobacco leaves, anise, spice, and some mineral. Aftertaste of some more mineral, zest, and a touch of white pepper. In her peak.
