Coteaux du Loir Pineau d'Aunis

Bracing and edging toward lean and mean. No vintage on my bottle or cork, so maybe stored too long in my cellar?

Extremely light color. Very fragrant. Juicy juicy berries, white pepper, floral notes, crushed rock. In the mouth, it’s pepperiness, herbal notes, and crunchy fruit vying for attention. Light and athletic.

Very similar to previous. Tons of flowers and light tart berries. Just a lovely wine to drink

Light and flexible with gd acidity

This is not the rose. Very light nose of strawberry preserves, violets, menthol. Very nice palate. Much more strawberries, stone, and flowers on the palate. Really lovely. I’m finding pineau d’aunis to be a nice alternative to Gamay.
