I understand that all of the aromatics are macerated in GNS, as rules don't allow them to be macerated in the blanche de Normandie. This incorporates vanilla, lemon and cardamom in addition to more traditional aromatics. The remainder of the spirit is made from Balanche de Normandie cur with a bit more heads to accentuate and lift the aromas.
Nose is only subtly juniper. For me at the moment showing more of the creamy vanilla and lemon curd components. There is a hint of the cardamom in the retronasal with a resinous, balsamic quality.
Very interesting new style gin.
