A great Italian white. Nose is so dense with waxy fruits, plantains and also some minerals. Really expansive. Also some faint burnt incense. Palate is juicy and bone dry at the same time and there is some plantain and apricot fruit and huge minerals. Long and fresh with terrific acidity. Lovely spice throughout and great purity.

Feb 7th, 2024Lovely nose of floral, really tons of white flowers, mineral, some light fig and lanolin as well. Really pretty. Like Arneis and Greco had a baby. Concentrated and very juicy. Exceptional purity and length. Super clean, super juicy with a strong mineral spine throughout and outstanding length. Terrific wine. Explosive on the palate. Even better than my last bottle. Terrific structure. This has a decade ahead of it.

Jun 27th, 2021Nose of lemon curd, flintiness and huge minerals. Airy as it airs. lol. Really clean and precise nose. Gets more expansive as it airs. Flowers and apples as well but this aromatically is very mineral driven. Palate is where this delivers. Structured, intensely mineral and very dry. Yet juicy, refined and deep. Really long. Almost no fruit on the palate. Nice inner mouth florals and such dry extract and sap. So clean, balanced and juicy. Really long. Just terrific. But it takes 30ish minutes to unwind.

Stone fruits & white flowers on the nose, a bit of pear, nice waxiness, lemon curd.
Lemon peel, full in the mouth, refreshing.
After some airing, a mineral bonanza.
Goes well with a treat from further south
Spaghetti ala vongole w chili.

Wow. What a great wine.
Nose is gorgeous white flowers.
Palate is so clean and mineral. Great thrust. Some linear richness. Great density.

a bit shy, waiting on warming. Some melon, green rind.
P: Granny Smith , lemons, pith, slight yeastiness, very Alive, like steeley dew.
With an afternoon out, delish.

P: Bone dry, oyster liquor, lemon rind, mineral, cat pee, grass, .
What a wonderful tactile, Piedmonte wine. So many things unfolding as you go. Layers as Shrek would say.
