Sold out at the estate. They sent to me to be able to get a sense of the style. This is a big wine and doesn’t quite have the level of refinement and delicacy of the 17 and 18. Nose is a bit roasted. Ripe and mineral. But roasted. Roses. Tar. Pleasant and balanced. Palate is big and dense with sweet tannins and lovely density. It’s refined but not at the level of the 17. It’s a very good wine but 17 they took the leap to elite.
