Opened a bottle of 2000 recently and recommended drinking 2 years earlier...and I now agree. Beautiful velvet and black cherry with anise on the nose. Just enough tannins and full finish. Enjoy now. Go Cubs!

2000 is past it's peak, but still a delightful wine. Missing the deep fruit velvety complexity that I love from Chimney Rock. Drink now or 2 years ago.
