For sure Sangiovese but a little too much funk for me...I thought it may have just been a little reductive but it did not blow off. Have a few more to try of this now trendy producer. Classic Sangiovese otherwise.

Unusual and well made expression of Sangiovese. The nose would remind of Moulin-a-Vent, with vibrant brambly red fruit more than cherry and a touch of forest floor. The palate is more classic but tannins take a backseat to the saline, acid-forward mouthfeel

Absolutely delicious. Have had very little Sangiovese from outside of Tuscany. Cherries leap from the glass. Wonderful mouthfeel, depth, and texture. Refined acid and even though this is just a few years old the tannins are surprisingly manageable. Really a fun one.
