Lots of cherry and smoke on the nose. Lovely in the mouth, lingering red fruit on the finish. Some tobacco notes too, good balance with alcohol and light tannins.

Mar 11th, 2015Big acid, opened up and became a different wine when decanted and allowed to warm a bit. Chilled wasn't nearly as pleasant. Hints of tropical fruit come out as it warmed up. Not in love, but definitely fun and different
