Château Vincens
L'Instant Cahors Malbec
More earth and herbs than fruit on the nose but black fruits on the palate with a lighter body and structured tannins.

Jan 7th, 2023This is my first Malbec ever. Cherry and a little bit of plum, soft tannin with a spicy touch. One sip fills your mouth with a smacky taste. Surely not a heavy red wine, but I rather not smack all away in a single day.
P.S.: After one day the body is by far not as full and mouth filling anymore.

Mineral, light fruit, mildly tart, leaning towards medium bodied.
Excellent choice for lightly cured meats without overwhelming spices and also an excellent choice for mild cheeses. I'd have this with bluefish and others in the mackerel family. Lovely surprise for the retail price of $8 -would buy again.

Dry, light, low and subtle tannins that strengthen when aerated. White pepper on watermelon rind. Husband seems to think nutmeg, sulfur (matchsticks). Delicious and worthy of the price. (Sale $12, original $15)
