Strong tannins if you're into that! Fruit leather and stone fruit. Mushroom and savory on the palate. Robust and full flavored--a really nice wine on its own but I bet it would go great with steak or maybe surf n turf. — 3 years ago

This vintage is really silky. It does need time to open up and seeing other reviews I wish I had stored it for a year or so to see how the fruits mature. Still, I get fruit leather, apple and pineapple juice. It's tropical without being light, true to the heaviness of a cab. This was a beautiful wine! — 3 years ago
