This is a delicious Clairette from Bandol. Elegant and nicely balanced. Fruit forward, rich and interesting.
Neither bitter nor tart. Tasty and easy drinking right out of the bottle.
Good by itself as a sipping wine, and will also pair nicely with seafood.
A blend of 95% Clairette and 5% Bourboulenc from old vines averaging 40 years of age. Aged on the lees in new French oak barrels.

Full mouthfeel, mineral with sweetish fruit yet citrus shines through as the aftertaste. Long lasting and definite alcohol lingers. Thanks to the “Jurassic World: Dominion” picture editor for the gift from home. Love it!

Jan 1st, 2018Amazed. Never experienced a "Bandol" previously, but incredible! Soft citrus, a nose of pineapple and mango, but never bitter taste with smooth, sugar (perhaps raspberry) finish. Really love the dry and delightful finish.
