Château Tronquoy-Lalande
Saint-Estèphe Red Bordeaux Blend
Very nice Bordeaux with perfect level of bottle age for this vintage. Lots of dark berry fruit on the nose. Palate is full and especially with some air smoothens out with a nice long finish. Slightly disjointed tannins but still nice.

Jul 31st, 2019Smooth, well integrated, plenty of red fruit. Surprisingly soft in the mouth for St Estephe. At home with beef cheeks, slow cooked. Perfect match.

May 29th, 2017Nose: Higher level of complexity here, warm and spicy feeling, black berries, raspberries first, then a bit of gooseberry, green herbal notes, cherry liquor, cedar. Intense and penetrant to the nose.
Palate: Quite light with good astringency. Subtle and delicate flavours – not too bold. Nice texture, silky but not heavy.

Nice subtle aroma, medium bodied with pleasantly chunky tannin. Dominated with intense black fruit flavor, long finished, complex. Should integrate better in few more years.
