Modern yet boring label. Color is ruby and lighter for merlots. Smells alright. Maybe a hint of coffee/mocha on top of the berry melange. Flavors are fresh with a hint of zing. (Like red Zinger tea). It’s got some depth and a hint of character, but it’s not fancy. Just a nice little French Merlot. Drier and more of a cranberry and tart cherry profile than most New World ones. But it’s made tres bien and for the price it’s on point.
