Full body medium acidity, this Bordeaux is pretty awesome. Lovely nose with blackberry, black cherry, and a bit of anise. The flavors are layered and more complex with a hint of leather and chocolate. The finish is long and has a similar lingering flavor. This is a fairly high quality Bordeaux for a modest price.

Needed to open and then softened up nicely. Very little on the noise and a good balance of tannins after breathing. Good value.

Blackberries and cherries, soft tannins and velvety texture. A touch of tar and tobacco come through on the finish. An approachable wine that is ideal with a late night burger following A Night At The Opera (with terrific Mark Morris choreography accompanying Purcell and Britten).

Drinking really well, needed almost no time to open up, classic Bordeaux
guts & tannins with full bodied, velvety smooth mouthfeel. Pretty much equal amounts blackberry/cassis fruit & graphite. Great value for $16!!

Nose: purple berries, cassis, merlot-ey
Palate: nice tannin, dry, smooth
This wine can be enjoyed on its own.

Dark fruit, juicy Merlot. Medium body tannins, with well balanced notes of leather and hints of soft white pepper. Youthful acidity that still needs to settle down a bit. Will be ideal to open in 2 or so years.
