A nice Cabernet Sauvignon based blend from Bordeaux.

Showing black fruits with earth, vegetables, tobacco leaf, spices, oak, vanilla, licorice, black tea and black pepper.

Medium plus in body with medium plus acidity.

Dry on the palate with a nice mouthfeel and nice complexity.

Still young and needs another 5 years to mature properly. However, it is drinking nicely now by itself or with food.

13.5% alcohol by volume.

89 points.

Surprisingly good value. Not the most complex, but an enjoyable (albeit young) Margaux.

Young but more complex than similar aged. Great with cheeses, spicy chicken, and Christmas cookies! 😬

Very soft and plush with great depth and richness from an excellent vintage. Plummy and earthy at the same time. Really good bargain at $20.

A modern style Bordeaux from Margaux, one of my favorite AOC in the region. A crime to drink this modern blend of Cabernet Sauvignon 55%, Merlot 40%, Petit Verdot 5%, so young.
Well crafted modern in style, deep red color almost black, full of black current, plums, blur berries, Caesar wood, dust, soil, coffee and plums, medium to full body, with well integrated tannins and lovely supportive acidity. My score 87, drink 2016-2025, score might improve over time as there is potential

The wine poured a beautiful dark Brick/blood red. We decanted it and let it breathe for about 45 minutes first. It has wonderful flavors of earth, graphite, dried fruit. This is another example I think of buying a lower cost wine from a great vintage and putting it up. It certainly could’ve Aged longer. But it went perfectly with our prime stakes dinner at Hanna with our friends the Swanson‘s and the Bailey‘s. #bordeaux #leftbankbordeaux #margauxwine

Not as bold as I was thinking it would be - but still an enjoyable French red at a good price point. Dry, mature red fruit but not in a way that overwhelms.
