Feb 6th, 2019Dark sour cherry and berry notes and whips of vanilla. The finish is moderate with bite of tannins and acid that mellows nicely with food.

Fruity nose with blackberries, black cherries, strawberries, figs, currants, oak, vanilla, licorice, spices, pencil lead, beef jerky, light chocolates and peppercorn. A very nice nose.
Full bodied and smooth with medium acidity and long legs.
Dry and fruity on the palate with blackberries, black currants, plums, cooked cherries, oak, vanilla, licorice, spices, tobacco, chocolates, light coffee and black pepper.
Tangy finish with fine tannins and tangy raspberries.
This Washington red blend is very enjoyable. Nicely balanced with nice complexity and a great mouthfeel. Easy drinking, fruity and tasty.
Good right out of the bottle and better after 60 minutes of airtime. Will be better in a year or two, as it becomes more complex.
A good wine to sip on by the porch, and good for parties too. Just delicious.

Dark ruby in color with a purplish rim. Not showing aging yet.
A wonderful fruity nose, with blackberries, black currants, oak, vanilla, licorice, cherries, sweet strawberries, spices, herbs and peppercorn.
Full-bodied with medium acidity, long legs, smooth and elegant.
Dry and fruity on the palate with blackberries, blueberries, vegetables, green peppers, oak, herbs, vanilla, licorice, cloves and black pepper.
Medium plus on the finish with extremely soft tannins and peppercorn.
This is a nice red blend from Columbia Valley. Well integrated, complex and pleasurable and good by itself. Also good with chicken or pork.I paired it with a chicken flat bread, cheeses and fruits.
This 5 year old was good right out of the bottle, but became more complex after 90 minutes in a decanter, with nice and interesting earthiness, that reminds a right bank red.
Had it last year, and it felt more like a Napa Cabernet. Very interesting, isn't it?

Jun 4th, 2014Oh well this is not bad!?! Great nose and actually seems inviting on the first taste. But 3 to four tastes and it seems a little 2 sided and not much more complex. Still...at 13 bones...sure! $12 / 88pts Youngs206
