Had some mindblowing Sancerre before this, so in comparison this was weak and lifeless. Fruity style Sauv Blanc, lots of Apple and melon with the trademark pleasant acidity, though dialed back. Nothing offensive but nothing transcendent.

Gooseberry, grass and grapefruit. Would be very tart and crisp if not for the slight oak flavor. Don't generally like Sauvignon blanc aged in oak.
