Chateau Ste. Michelle
Columbia Valley Riesling
Columbia Valley, Oregon/Washington, USA

Pale lemon in color with a golden hue.
Fruity nose and medium plus in body with medium plus acidity.
Off dry on the palate with mild complexity.
Showing lemons, apples, pears, minerals, light herbs, sea salt and light honey notes.
Medium finish with limes and sweet apples.
This is a very tasty Riesling from Washington State. Crisp and refreshing, and better when properly chilled.
Nicely balanced, easy drinking and better than I expected.
Good by itself as a sipping wine, and good for parties or the pool.
12% alcohol by volume.
88 points.

Initial tastes include but are not limited to cedar wood marinating in formaldehyde, sweat of a baboon sitting in a steam room next to a really awkward guy with peyronies syndrome, candied pickles. No tannins present however a slick layer of acidity makes this wine a joy when munching on pop corners in a bowl with stale tostitos. Highest quality producer ever.

My new summer favorite wine! 👏 it goes well with oysters and fish. It's about $8-9 at Costco.

Loved the crisp taste and slight carbonation. Perfect with fish one night and risotto the next. Not too sweet but just sweet enough to want to drink all on its own or even as dessert;)
