Chateau Ste. Michelle
Columbia Valley Merlot
Oldest winery in Washington with some of the most mature vineyards in the Columbia Valley. A blend of mostly Merlot with Syrah and other grapes. Dark Ruby color aromas of ripe berry fruit and sweet spice. On the palate simple flavors of cherry and blackberry, a touch jammy, with leather and cacao, sweet soft tannins on a medium finish. Good value!

At first, hid alcohol well but soon was very apparent. My recommendation would be to pour small amounts, cork the bottle and continue to pour small amounts and drink quickly.
