Smells so oaks! Tastes milder than expected; like vanilla, almonds, and a little oak. Dry and smooth, silky finish.

Medium/full-bodied, round tannins, fresh, long finish with a good balance of different flavors: ripe black cherry, ripe raspberry, mocha, oak, vanilla, and perhaps pepper. Drinks easily.

Another good low price wine from Chateau St Michelle. Nice flavor, soft alcohol presence, clean finish. Can't be beat for $12/bottle.
