On the palate cherry and strawberry flavors with cacao and leather spice. Lively acidity, well balanced on lingering finish ending with a touch of mineral tones.

Garnet hue with medium-plus saturation. Aromas and flavors of blackberry, chocolate, earthy, graphite, oak, raspberry, smoke, and tobacco. Medium-full body; medium (yet firm) tannins; and medium-high acidity. A rustic, elegant nose; a full, rich palate; and a bold, lingering finish. Several years in the bottle bring tertiary notes to the nose, but nevertheless a silky and elegant finish. Made from 100% Pinot Noir, aged for 7 months in 100% French oak (25% new) before bottling.
