Robert Young Vineyard Alexander Valley Chardonnay

This is a very tasty chardonnay from Alexander Valley.

Medium plus in body with medium acidity.

Dry on the palate and spicy.

Showing lemons, apples, pears, red chili pepper, spices, Cedar and vanilla.

Not too oaky which is nice for me.

A good quality wine.

Oak present bit integrated

Aromas of crisp fruit with scents of oak and floral. On the palate apple, peach and honey flavors with lemon notes, vanilla and sweet oak wrapped in tangy acidity. Lingering finish ending with a creamy texture. Nice value.

Holding up well. Clean and balanced with a creamy finish.

Second Chardonnay I've had in a week from Robert Young Vyd. And I want more. A very clean, bright wine with Apple, Meyer lemon, flinty notes, and a slightly caramel-creamy finish. Paired nicely with our grilled vegetable & corn salad with vinaigrette. A lovely wine.

A bit too heavy on the honeysuckle

A light, citrusy Chardonnay with a clean finish.

See chateau st. jean tasting notes. I can't do better. Lovely for the price point. And more notes of oak as it opens.

Very smooth Chardonnay, mixed beautifully with tuna and a broccoli soup.
