Chateau St. Jean
Bijou California Chardonnay
If I tasted blindly, I may have thought this was a Sauv Blanc. A little citrus, a little acid, fairly mild. Great buy at TJs for $6.99 and just grabbed another bottle.

Jul 22nd, 2017Didn't like the 2013 vintage but this one is better. Still took a couple tastes to let it settle.

Jul 8th, 2016While the claim on the label of passion fruit is a bit of a stretch, I was pleased with the soft oaky citrus that hints of nectarine. The flavor is well balanced and then has a pleasant, faint lemon finish. I thought this was one of my better experiments in this price range and am very glad to have bought 3 bottles.
