A little aged and integrating nicely. Still plenty of fruit but mellowed tannins - great balance.

This is really under-rated. I can see why. You need to want this. The initial blackberry is immediately overtaken by a heaping amount of road tar and tobacco. It's awesome, but not for everyone. Velvety mouthfeel, but the tannins remain powerful on the finish. Needs some more time to settle down. WS Top 100. Terrific value here. Practically stole this for $20.

Deep red with aromas of dark fruits and spice. The palate shows sweet Raspberry, cheery and currants with tobacco, cacao and toasty oak. Tannins are forward with an acidity grip on the medium length ending. WS top 100 wine.

This was so memorable. I bought a case of it. This is one of my last bottles. Drink now if you have. It’s peaked. Great fruit with a minty edge and loamy finish but the secondary flavors are gone and it’s taking on a slightly jammy feel.

A former WS Top 100 and one of my previous wines of the year. Haven’t had this in a year. Cracked one open to see how things were looking. Terrific blackberry fruit and currant. Silky with a chalk-filled finish. Losing some of the secondary flavors which were previously a lot more pronounced. This is still drinking nicely, albeit not as memorable. Start consuming what you have.

Nose is simmering tomato sauce. Paprika and black tea and blueberry and earth. Puckering tannin. This is a great wine.

#KWN Wine 7. This totally held up. Big and bold, super long finish. Dark chocolate, smoky finish, medium to full bodied.
