Well it is Friday and I am wanting a Loire Cabernet Franc and I am having an Anjou Rouge.

The nose is nice with notes of red plum, red raspberry, roasted red pepper and wet gravel.

On first taste there are notes of sour cherry that fills the palate, a bit of raspberry, sweet green bell pepper, green herbs and a nice minerality.

There is a medium mouth feel with medium + acidity and medium sandy tannins that dries out the mouth which leaves a pleasing lasting finish.

😩Aah! So good. Want to drink this everyday. Raspberry, tobacco hints, earth, funky, but so fresh and juiced up. Pressed red berries.

Velvety red-purple color. Aromas of green herbs, green pepper, blackberries, moss, and a touch of sulfur. Grippy but pleasant tannins; more plush than I'd expected, with red fruits and red licorice. Drying finish. Likes food. 13.5% abv | $18 (Vermont)

Pressed raspberry and plum. Green pepper. Medium body with medium tannins. Would be great with cheese, chicken, or lighter red meat dishes.
