Haut-Médoc Red Bordeaux Blend

Old and dusty (especially on the finish). Lots of forest floor compost, hints of tart, wild blackberries. Pet a really old black Labrador. Like a really sweet old lab, that maybe smells a little musky. Just like Stella, the 14 year old Labrador (pictured).

Too corked to evaluate

Good cork, slight woodiness but very nice minerality and resolved tannins.

Super in the nose. Makes you excited to drink. Unfortunately let’s your down massively. Over the fruit.

1985. Olives, tobacco, barnyard. Drinking just fine.

Still very good, but drinking a little past its window. The last bottle I had about two years ago was much better. This vintage is almost out of fruit. Drink it now.
