Jun 14th, 2020Beautifully executed #chateauneufdupape. Heady, New World - style bramble berry nose and that fruit forward nature carries through the palate, but balanced well with acidity, spice and already elegant tannins. I’ll need to hold onto the other bottles I have to see how this tastes after laying down for several years.

Jan 21st, 2019Young. Definitely needs age or a long decant. The nose has leather, vanilla, dark berries (blackberry, black cherry), all very ripe. Very thick. On the pallet upfront you get silky lush tannin with a punch of acidity. There’s a drying oak with that dark berry again and something I can’t quite figure out...a green element. Green pepper maybe? Yum!
