Merlot 52%, Cabernet Sauvignon 36%, petit Verdot 11%, Cabernet franc 1%. This wine is brick red with a red rim. Black cherry, blackberry, black currant, pepper notes on the nose. Black pepper, black cherry, silky on the palate. Light tobacco on the palate. Very smooth, medium tannins. Lovely easy drinking wine. Long cherry and tobacco finish. Gravel and clay soil. Absolutely awesome. Bought the 2010 vintage from the producer.
