This is ready to go right meow. The nose is a bit damp forest, red currant, touch of black pepper, muddy earth, and pebbles. There’s a lush and subtle tannic structure still with acidity that just hits the tip of the tongue. The fruit is still there, red, layered with leather and the muddy earth again, but it’s delicate and not funky, wet cellar. It’s yum.

Very elegant cru bourgeois Medoc. Well balanced between power, earth tones, fruit and tanin. Nicely aging excellent vintage of 2005. Open it for an hour to show its full potential.
