St Emillion right bank Bordeaux. 70 merlot 15 each cab franc and sauv. Medium body and medium but smoothTanins. Long finish. Would pair well with any meats

Drank 12/5/18. Paired with lamb burgers.

This was a great value, originally priced around $17, currently on special for December with an additional 20% off at total wine for around 11$.

Nose of plumbs, cherries, leather, and black pepper.
Flavors of red and black cherry, soil, and tar backed by medium tannins. Dry, medium to long finish. An impressive wine for a lesser chateau in a mediocre year.

3/21/7/4/4+50 = 89 pts.

Needs time to open up, but is delicious after it has time to breath.

Good, but not a flavor/taste I was used to even though we drink plenty of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Must have been the Cabernet Franc that changed the flavor so much.

Didn’t have any expectations. Opened the bottle after work to have a glass of wine. Wow. This is a light body wine with some dryness. The flavor is slightly tart, and the wine is very enjoyable by itself. Can’t wait to open another bottle.

Blackberry with earthy wet stone nose some floral bits. Tannin provided nice structure not a lot of fruit on palate. But very nice for price.

Subdued wine. Undertones of blackberry, stewed plum and nutmegy sweetness.

Paired well with Steak, Chicken Pad Thai and a homemade Chicken Stir-Fry. God, I love Bordeaux.
