Poured through Coravin aerator. Dark ruby. Inviting nose of black raspberry, light oak, and cassis. Full bodied palate echoes the nose with velvety tannins and a lengthy, slightly nutty finish. Cabernet Franc takes the lead in this “upside down” Bordeaux. Slightly New World in style, but Bordeaux all the way. Drink now through 2025.

ワインで「金賞受賞」というのは鬼門なのですが、2018ビンテージのマジックか、なかなかよろしい。まだかなり若いですが、凝縮した果実味、オレンジピールやチョコレートも感じせる複雑さも秀逸。酸味はもう少し抑えめな方が好み。

Nice, not too earthy. Even though it's a Bordeaux it's 85% Cab Franc and 15% Merlot.

One of the better cab Francs I've had. Not too much bell pepper. Ensconced in velvet. For those who enjoy a soft wine I recommend this one. In the Corvey style
