Château Roc de Segur
Red Bordeaux Blend
Smells French. Prunes, black olives and cherry leaves. Flavors are subdued and earthy. Bit of coffee, toffee and tar. Plenty of cow barn, but in a nice way. Mushrooms. For $9 Bordeaux you'd be hard pressed to go better.

Jan 26th, 2024Nose: dark cherry, mild leaves and tea, some baking spice, a little olive brine. Taste: anonymous light-medium weight red wine, a little thin. Meh. There are other cheap French wines I much prefer. EDIT: IMPROVED WITH FOOD. Air probably didn’t hurt either.

Sep 9th, 2021Average Bordeaux blend of expected quality. Not bad for the price but nothing overly special in any way.

Jun 5th, 2021Solid intro level Boudreaux. Table wine. $9.99. Not complex flavor. Easy to drink. Would drink again at this price or less.
