Smells French. Prunes, black olives and cherry leaves. Flavors are subdued and earthy. Bit of coffee, toffee and tar. Plenty of cow barn, but in a nice way. Mushrooms. For $9 Bordeaux you'd be hard pressed to go better.

Definitely needed time to open up as it was tight on the nose to begin with. Raspberry and lemony citrus on the front.. Lighter to medium body and light tannins. A bit of an earthy nature to it as well.

Gift, good but don’t love… a little sweetness at the finish that doesn’t work

Nose: dark cherry, mild leaves and tea, some baking spice, a little olive brine. Taste: anonymous light-medium weight red wine, a little thin. Meh. There are other cheap French wines I much prefer. EDIT: IMPROVED WITH FOOD. Air probably didn’t hurt either.

Average Bordeaux blend of expected quality. Not bad for the price but nothing overly special in any way.

Solid intro level Boudreaux. Table wine. $9.99. Not complex flavor. Easy to drink. Would drink again at this price or less.

Beautifully earthy with a nice full flavor of prunes and berry. Good value for its price.
