Still life with cherries. Clearly what older flavours, but nothing too serieus: tea, bay, pencil lead, tabaco. Smooth, light, low in bitters and tanine. A lot better than a few years back. Good i was patient with these bottles.

Hidden gem. Drinking really well right now. Ripe, hint of mushroom, and lots of fine leather, forest floor. The tertiary notes are so refined. 15% alc but not feeling it at all.

I get the hype. A nice blend of Napa fruit and Bordeaux structure. Lots of oak.

Definitely drinkable, but a bit sour and somewhat flat. None of the amazing qualities that I remember from the 1970 Bordeauxs. Still interesting.

Nose is medium intensity with plum, blackberry, medicinal, cherry cough drops. Palate is medium plus acidity and tannins with leather, black cherry, licorice, tobacco. Very good wine. Has potential for aging.
