Can we party like it's 1999 yet? I think I enjoyed this more than my last btl. Lovely aromatics: des Tours Vacqueyras specific black raspberry, incense, brown sugar, a hint of mint and garrigue...the flamboyant nose this has in its youth has been toned down, and it is so elegant. On the palate: cherry pit, sweet black raspberry, bitters, and very soft, almost evanescent, tannin on the finish. A stunner.
