I had two bottles of this wine the other night. The nose was somewhat earthy, with notes of Tobacco and cigar box. The first sip found currants and more tobacco and cedar highlight. Finish was decent but not as long as I would have like. Tannins were just right for me. This went wonderfully with my steak. First bottle was decanted about 45 minutes the second about an hour and a half. I would definitely go with the longer as to me it allowed it to open up nicely.

Very tannic, lots of coffee, some tobacco, berries, with a long finish.
