I know, like everyone else, that ‘84 was a shit year, but this was one of the only wineries, that made a great wine, in a tremendously challenging vintage.

The 1984 is well off vintage and past its prime with gritty earth, leather, faded fruit and a short finish. But it's Pichon and I'm digging it.
