Lovely medium bodied white with a fair number of legs. Subtle notes of floral on the nose. Pears & apricots on the fore palate followed by soft but distinct minerals, and finished with whispers of citrusy lemon - lime. Enjoyed it with Tim at Tarpon Lodge on Pine Island (seafood & filet)

Aroma 3/5 soft floral . Flavor 2/5 acid tannin. Not my fav. I don’t think I am a merlot fan.

I think the 85% Merlot really rounded out this wine! I was nervous it would be too full and heavy but it wasn't at all. Short finish but then hits you with cherry and banilla. Other notes include some plum, almond, black cherry, pepper and spice. Medium body with dark fruit on the nose, medium acidity and low tannin. Flavor was mellowed out slightly by my steak but I truly loved the pop of flavor pre-dinner.
